Alison Tooze

Ali has worked at the BPA for 22 years and for some time now has worked with and on behalf of public sector members, representing their interests with policy makers and other stakeholders.

Ali has a keen interest in ensuring that powers to manage traffic and parking are effective in driving behaviour change and also practical in terms of their operational delivery.  The flaws in legislative powers to manage persistent evaders has been something Ali is invested in addressing and is how she became involved in the nuisance vehicles campaign at its inception.  This naturally led to her helping to support the development of NPED to enable better capture of data that can be used to monitor and better manage our vehicle community as well as help to inform current enforcement processes.  Ali joins as an NPED ambassador to represent the interests of all BPA members and help to drive forward the supporting campaign for improved legislative powers to tackle the serious problem of nuisance vehicles and motorists.
